Occasionally, a customer will come to DisCom with an inquiry that requires extensive design work and validation as to avoid issues in the field. DisCom was faced with the challenge to design a clamp that was able to handle temperatures higher than common materials could handle. By implementing an additional component comprised of ceramic, the clamp skin temperature was reduced. This addressed three things:
