FORGING<\/h1>\n

Ever wonder how fasteners are made? Nuts, bolts and screws are commodity items that use either forming or forging to generate the net shape of the component. Little to no material is wasted using either process, keeping cost to a minimum.<\/p>\n

DisCom specializes in generating goods produced via forming or forging. 1200-ton pressures shape billet material into the desired shape. This can be done with or without the presence of heat, depending on the part complexity or material hardness. Parts surfaces are worked, meaning that the finished good has added strength and toughness.<\/p>\n
